This article is an analysis of the Croatian War of Independence. It was fought between Croatian forces devoted to the Croatian government between 1990 and 1995, the war began when Croatia declared its independence from the socialist party Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The Serbs had control over the Yugoslav People's Army and cooperative local Serbian forces. Croatia intended to break away from Yugoslavia to become an independent country, while Serbs living in Croatia supported Yugoslav war efforts. They fought the withdrawal from Croatia because they wanted Croatia to remain under the control of Yugoslavia, because the Serbs sought to be a new state with new borders in some parts of Croatia. The Serbs considered themselves the majority in the country to make this vision a reality, the Serbs attempted to take over as much of Croatia as they could. The outbreak of nationalism caused war in Croatia because a calamity occurred in which it weakened Yugoslavia. towards the end of the Cold War, in the mid-1980s. This led to the inimitable end of Yugoslavia. When Croatia seemed to be independent outside of Yugoslavia, the nationalists began to develop ideas while still among the communists. It became increasingly clear that Yugoslavia would soon become an independent state. With the introduction of amendments to the Serbian constitution in 1989, the calamity in Yugoslavia worsened. In this way the Serbian government managed to regain power. The growing conflict This move helped usher in the Serbian presidency of Slobodan Milošević who amassed vote control during his time as president.
