With the expectation that we are righteous in a fallen world it is easy to assume that person. However, this is full of pitfalls because we too have fallen. The only difference between Christians and the world is that Christians have accepted God's grace and mercy. “Christians agree that sin is terrible and will destroy their Christian testimony. “He who covers his sins will not prosper” (Proverbs 28:13). But notice the next part of that verse: “But whoever confesses them and abandons them will have mercy.”
