INDIVIDUAL ETHICAL PERSPECTIVE In an effort to gain a clearer awareness of my ethical perspectives, I have completed the Ethical Awareness Inventory. This inventory asked me several questions about what I valued most and least as moral values. Furthermore, the inventory presented two sample situations that involve ethical considerations from a management perspective in a work environment. By taking this inventory, I was able to gain insight into how my values and perceptions might shape my actions and the impact of those actions. actions in future circumstances. This insight will allow me to choose which ethical perspective best suits individual situations as they arise and will provide me with the opportunity to ask more key questions to serve the situations in a way that is more true to my ethical standards. These new tools will allow me to interact with colleagues and senior leadership more effectively regarding ethical considerations and stances. While this survey gave me great insight into my core beliefs, it also gave me an understanding of how other people may approach circumstances. This will be very useful when it comes to influencing the policies of any organization or social group so that everyone is served in the best possible way. This document will document the results of my participation in the ethical awareness survey and clarify which of the four main perspectives best applies to my moral beliefs. Next, each of the four ethical perspectives will be explained to provide you, the reader, with an understanding of how these different perspectives shape individual ethical decisions and potential ethical dilemmas. To finalize the investigation, potential et...... half of the document ......actions. Then it no longer seems like the right answer. It seems like it's just a better or worse response to ethical consideration. Summary To summarize, I believe that, as with anything in life, education, growth, and development are the keys to making ethical decisions. People can take on different perspectives throughout their lives. Sometimes the perspective changes based on their reactions to different circumstances or groups. Other times, these perspectives may change over time as people develop. I am also convinced that people who are rigid in their ethical decisions are not making a truly ethical decision after all. Instead they simply pass judgment on others and are usually fair or overbearing. This, in my opinion, is unethical behavior and does not provide what society needs for everyone to feel empowered and satisfied.
