Situation Analysis and Problem StatementThe following document will discuss the situational context of Intersect Investment Services, a financial company whose CEO has identified a new vision: "Providing a broad range of products and services to consumer and small business customers using a customer intimacy model that will build long-term relationships based on trust and customer value.” (UOP, 2006). The problems and opportunities associated with organizational transformation will be explained, as well as the stakeholders and their ethical dilemma in dealing with change. Situation Context (Phase 1) Intersect has sensed the difficulties plaguing the financial services market since the events of September 11, 2001. Over the past four years, Intersect has refused to make strategic changes, hoping that its way of doing business will past continued to help the company survive. However, with other companies now offering an ever-expanding range of cutting-edge products paired with expert advice, Intersect CEO Frank Jeffers has determined it's time for a change.
