A story of infidelity and chlamydia This is the story of a dear friend and one night that would change the rest of his and our lives. His name was MMMM; he had always been the popular kid in our high school. He was the star quarterback on our senior football team; coming from wealthy parents, he drove the nicest muscle car and always had the hottest girls chasing him. Even in college, after we had all calmed down from the partying and drinking, he continued without missing a beat. Just one night all that would change. MMM had finally met a girl he really liked. They ended up having a serious relationship that lasted two years. She was a good, conservative girl who didn't drink or party much and mostly kept to herself. His persistent and flirtatious nature had finally won her over. She would graduate soon, but MMM was still a year or two away. The sad part was that he still went back to bars to socialize with other women. He constantly told me about his one-night stands. I always felt bad for his girlfriend, because she didn't deserve it. MMMM always said, “I'm just getting it out of my system, before I get married.” As he got closer to graduation, there was more and more talk of marriage. Spring break week had arrived; all the kids had decided to go out and have a crazy night on the Strip. We went from bar to bar, having fun like the old days. MMM had found this incredibly gorgeous girl in one of the bars. We were pretty drunk at this point, and apparently this girl was too. Marco stumbled over to me and said, "I'm going to fuck this girl, see you later!" and they left. As usual, no one thought anything of it, and we continued with our evening. About six months... half the paper... fun fight, with a girl he didn't know, that's all it took to end it all for MMM. He contracted the most common sexually transmitted disease in the United States, easily treatable, but what seemed to do the worst to him was the thought of hurting his girlfriend and losing her forever. Little did he know that his next actions would be much worse than simply being taken care of and confronting his girlfriend for what she had done. Chlamydia not only affected him and his girlfriend physically, but also more emotionally and mentally. Works Cited: Robinson, Angela. "Chlamydia." http://www.netdoctor.co.uk. July 23, 2013.
