Topic > Compare and contrast shopping online vs. in-store...

Shopping in-store can also be much faster since you don't have to worry about shipping. Simply grab the item you want, get in line and purchase it. It seems really quick and easy, but sometimes there can be long lines in stores which will make you very impatient. I've had some disappointments with shipping via online orders, but nothing so bad that I won't order offline again. I have had experiences with sellers who took a long time to finally ship an item. There were times when I didn't even receive the item I ordered but luckily they were able to refund my money. In the store you can actually see the item, but you have to trust a photo when buying online. Many sellers would enlarge the item a lot, so the item has a chance of being smaller when you see it. When purchasing clothing, in-store shopping is definitely a better option. The main reason is because you can try on clothes. If it's a store that doesn't have dressing rooms, you can still see it clearly and position it against you. You can't do that at all with online shopping. You will just have to trust the sizes and measurements and most clothes from online stores do not correspond to their sizes. Sometimes I received items with measurements completely different from theirs
