Topic > Evolution of the Telephone - 756

Telephones have been around for more than a century, as the first telephone was created in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell. During this time, this new form of technology was only used to communicate. In more modern times, phones have evolved into cell phones, more known as cell phones. Currently, cell phones are capable of sending text messages, images and videos. In relation to computers, cell phones have been able to access the Internet using WiFi or Internet connectivity. Cell phones have evolved into something more than a laptop. Cell phones like iPhones and Androids have been able to do things that people in the past never imagined, like being able to video chat with someone thousands of miles away. Now that the generations that have experienced all these needs are continually waiting for even more advanced technology. All in all, past, present and future generations have had different expectations when it comes to communicating with people, whether they are down the street or somewhere else in the world. Many say that it was not Bell who created the device, but an Italian innovator, Antonio Meucci. Bell received a US patent for creating the first telephone. By 1881, at least 49,000 telephones were in use. The design was a very generic and simple construction. To use it, you would speak through a barrel leading to a receiver. It had many uses during the time it was first created. For example; military leaders used it as a means of communicating and sending orders from long distances. More generally, ordinary people used it as a means of communicating with distant friends or family. By 1900, 600,000 versions of Bell's creation were in use. Over the decades, the design has… half of paper… its concept could also be used to watch three-dimensional video content or display three-dimensional images. Many of these features are extremely likely in the near future. Looking at the evolution of communication technology, it has changed drastically from the late 1800s to present and future automations. More than a century ago, the human race found a way to communicate with each other not just by sending letters, but by speaking into a device that instantly sends a message to the recipient on the other line. Since then, companies and manufacturers have made improvements and new technologies, all thanks to the original creators of the device. The person reading this is probably reading from a high-tech computer or smartphone! From the old telephone created by Alexander Graham Bell to smartphones, there are many more innovations on the way.
