The Nixon Movie In an adventure through time, one of the greatest moments to watch is the Nixon era in American history. He was the president of the United States of America (USA). He has led the United States in cover-ups, war, lies and so much more. One of the best ways to see what it was like is the Nixon film. It accurately covers most of the events of Nixon's life as president. This will explain the film, eight points in the film that are illegal and/or unconstitutional, how this film affected me, and what I think of the film. Now, without further debt, turn off your cell phone, lowered, the movie is about to start. To begin the summary of the film Nixon, he makes no apologies for Nixon, and holds him responsible for the disgrace he brought to the presidency. The actor who plays Nixon, Anthony Hopkins, looks and sounds only generically like Nixon in real life. This is not an imitation; Hopkins gives us a deep and resonant performance that creates a man instead of addressing an image. The film is also about the infamous 18 1/2-minute gap on the White House tapes that symbolizes a black hole in the soul, a secret it alludes to but never reveals. What is implied is that somehow a covert CIA operation against Cuba, begun that Nixon knew about during the final years of the Eisenhower administration, turned on itself and somehow led to Kennedy's assassination. This does not suggest that Nixon ordered or desired Kennedy's death, but that he half-understood the process by which the Beast, as he called the secret government apparatus, led to the assassination.
