Wars and diseases are important issues in this world. But is peace possible? In this world of starving children, mutiny, betrayal, crisis and national debt. In a world so corrupt and hateful that people are being killed in the streets and the elderly have almost lost hope for the next generation. But is the world itself corrupt and cruel? Or it is the many governments that try to govern it. Governments that limit citizens' rights and allow rapists and terrorists to roam the streets are citizens distrustful. The task falls to the police, the security service. In other words, it is up to the government to change government. Is it so impossible for governments to see their problems? If so, who is there to change the world's rulers for the better? What should happen to governments that are rampant and out of control? Governments need to reform, or rather, security sector reform needs to take place. To best execute this type of reform, more than one thing needs to happen, but at least five different things, these are: (1) we need to know how to best reform the security sector within transgressing societies, (2) we need to look at the recent sector reform of other countries and try to find a way to better reform their own security sector, (3) one must be willing to accept the impact of a successful reform on sustainable peace and how the absence of such reform reform on political change and everlasting peace, (4) people must discuss whether a successful transformation of securities in post-war societies will be different from achieving reform in nations in political transgression, (5) one must identify the challenges that such a reform would present and the conditions that would allow the reform to be carried out successfully... middle of paper... operations."
