In this day and age, when our entire lives and practices are dominated by technology, it is imperative to learn how to use these innovations without letting them harm us. Most people would agree that technology has made our lives a little more relaxing and a lot easier to live. These newer technological innovations have helped us accomplish tasks that we were unable to do in the past. Now, it will take a long list to write down all the positive things about technology, but we humans tend to forget that these positive impacts technology can also affect us in a negative way. Technology has a downside, so for example every time a new phone or device comes out on the market people are really excited and sometimes wait even until midnight to be the first to receive it. Now the others wait and see if there are any technical problems or anything like that. So that people who have been waiting hours to get this amazing phone or devices find out that there is a problem. So, in a way, what I'm trying to say is that these new innovations help us in the short term, but ultimately hurt us in the long term. Since technology is a very broad topic, I decided to focus on two key points of technology. First, these new high-tech computers allow viruses to destroy your computer, steal personal information, etc. Secondly, with these new innovations people become addicted to the Internet. There was a time when you open your computer and see all these pop-ups and get this virus message. I remember this happened to me once and it was very frustrating and annoying at the same time. No matter how many Xs you clicked, it just wouldn't go away.
