Team CommunicationAbstractHaving a team is more difficult than working alone. Each member has their own way on how they understand when people communicate and how they communicate with others. Looking at different types of teams, whether it's football or a business environment, they all have the same type of habits that make them successful. Little things like leadership, trust, and how you communicate are key components to the success of many teams. Team Communication: Keys to a Successful Team In Influence of Covey Habit Training on Teams, it states: “Learning and applying approaches that improve individually and interpersonally.” Approaches that improve individual and interpersonal skills should facilitate the processes that lead to project completion: team communication, information sharing, problem solving, and task coordination. This appears to be the consensus of researchers who have studied ways to improve the effectiveness of project teams.” (Folse, p. 1)Communication within a group in today's society is a skill that can improve the habits of a successful team. When individuals decide to work as a team, it is no longer one person, but multiple individuals acting as one. Team members must fully understand the group's common goal and must also understand their individual role as a team. Once each member realizes that the work done individually still affects the group, this is the first habit acquired towards a successful team. An additional habit for a successful team is to earn the trust of each team member to ensure communication and growth within the team. Additionally, focusing on how you communicate is an important part of team growth. The initial phase It is important for… middle of the paper… for you in the team.
