Three Day Diet Analysis Nutrition is necessary for everyone. It is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. The United States Department of Agriculture created ChooseMyPlate.gov to help people choose their diet wisely. Unfortunately, many people still don't know how to choose a balanced diet and I'm guilty of it. Eating healthy doesn't mean imposing strict dietary restrictions, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving ourselves of the foods we love. Some pre-prepared foods can help me monitor what I eat, especially when it involves home-cooked meals instead of takeout foods that may have lots of preservatives added. I can also simplify my diet by not thinking too much about counting calories but basing it on color, freshness or variety. I can do this by avoiding foods that I know are packaged and processed. I will also start reading food labels. It is important for every individual to be aware of what is in the food we are eating. Manufacturers often hide ingredients that are high in sugar or other added preservatives that are unhealthy. These “bad” ingredients can be found even on foods that may be labeled as “healthy”, which is why it is very important to be aware of these secret ingredients on labels. Drinking plenty of water can help flush toxins from your body and prevent dehydration. It can also help an individual feel full, especially when drinking water first thing in the morning. Having breakfast in the morning is a good way to start the day because it gives an individual energy to start the day. It is important to eat in moderation. Frequent small meals can help maintain balance in your diet instead of indulging in three large meals. The key to eating healthy and maintaining your ideal weight is to stay motivated and keep it simple. Eating in the evening should be avoided. Some people I know try to avoid eating after 6pm. Studies suggest that eating only when you are most active and giving your digestive system a long break each day can help regulate your weight (healthy eating).
