Do psychic phenomena exist? Has the idea of psychic abilities or phenomena ever crossed your mind? Well, there are a large number of people who do not believe in psychic abilities and find it difficult to even consider them real. Regardless of skeptics and their beliefs, studies and research have been conducted on the topic over the last 145 years, and the evidence to support it all is quite intriguing. Researchers believe that there are 57 senses that we do not consciously use and which are related to psychic abilities and mental abilities (57). Continuing to read with an open mind can help you accept or understand the topics being talked about, and for skeptics, your beliefs will be tested by hard evidence and years of research in this report. The senses are like your mental and physical interactions with life that create the overall experience. When there is a flower you can see its beauty because you have sight, you can taste a slice of pizza because you have the ability to taste, you can pick up and throw something because you have the sense of touch and strength, you can hear someone calling your name from across the yard, or even smell something nice thanks to your nose and ability to smell (sense). These are the 5 senses we use every day, but researchers are looking at 57 other senses that they now think we might be using unconsciously (57). We have the ability to achieve any goal but we limit ourselves to the 5 senses that we think are the only ones that exist, when in reality it is slowly being demonstrated that the others are part of our psyche and our reality. The first “modern era” research began in the 1870s. At the time, people wondered if their life experiences had anything to do with mental stability and thought process.
