I chose to be a witness, which made me feel more involved in the action of the case. This role came with a sense of responsibility because I had to make sure I was presenting accurate information to the court so that a reasonable judgment could be made. In this case, defendant McCauley Malkin was charged with one felony count of auto theft and one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property. He allegedly stole a red 2013 Corvette from Jets Car Sales, owned by Michael Zumboni. As a witness, I did not expect to have massive involvement in the case rather than present my evidence when I was called for questioning. I expected to know what it would be like to actually be questioned in court in front of everyone and what it would be like to be asked questions that you might not have an immediate answer to
