Hello and welcome to Planetside 2. "Whatever gods they once were, they have long since abandoned this place." Planetside 2 stands out from any other shooter. With the world war open, it's not difficult to find a battle that suits your playstyle or end up as a car crash because people don't know how to drive. Battles can range from small skirmishes in outposts, to all-out massacres in massive biodomes. It also excels in combined arms tactics. With faction-specific armour, fighter planes, bombers and transport, it's easy to find a role you like and master. Within this game, there are three factions or empires. First there is the Terran Republic, loyal to the Republic crown. Their distinguishing characteristics are the red and gray uniforms. Their weapons have a low damage rate, but make up for it with a high fire rate. The Terran Republic is a conservative and socialist state. Just trying to bring the three factions together. Even though they don't have the best weapons, they make up for it with advanced tactics and military mass. This means that if they throw enough bodies at the enemy, the enemy will eventually break. We often call it “the meat grinder” in the game. Then we have the New Conglomerate. This faction is made up of the rebels, traitors, criminals and fugitives of the republic. These traitorous scum, as we loyal subjects like to call them, prefer to show off in blue and yellow. Their weapons arsenal consists mostly of second-hand weapons that the Terran Republic considers unfit for service. While this may be the case, they are not a force to be taken lightly. Their numbers grow every day, as more and more loyalists turn their backs on the crown. These rebels fight for their freedom. They don't know that their ideas are delusional. Finally there is... half the card... and 2 can quickly become boring and just a completely bad experience. YouTube or Google provide some reliable tips and tricks to improve your game. Because the better you are, the more exciting the game can become. Overall, Planetside 2 is still my favorite game, everything in the game is player based. You can create your own goals. My personal goal in the game is to hunt down as many level 100s as possible. I find it fun when I take down a maxed out player. I also try to always beat my previous scores, team kill Sinist (infamous character on my server) or just sit outside a large base and take screenshots. The game is open world, which offers endless possibilities for fun. I would give the game a critic score, all in all, a 4 out of 5. There's still some work to be done in the game, but overall, it's still really great.
