This essay will compare the elements of Generation Y and Generation Technology changed rapidly during the Generation X period, in other words, from the 1960s to the 1980s. In Generation Y, technology has opened our eyes to the entire world, but for better or for worse? Most of Generation Y grew up around much more advanced technology than Generation X. A great example of this advanced technology is the expansion of modern communication. Nowadays mobile phones mainly consist of smartphones, which are an extremely fast technology. Phone components have advanced rapidly over the years. The mobile phone consists of; touch screen, internet capabilities, messaging, games, music, application downloads, video clips and many other icons and apps to interact with. Thousands of people every day will use their phone to check Facebook, check weather updates, play games, check the time, listen to music throughout the day and use it for instant messaging. All of these different types of applications and accessibility will be built and used in the average person's life almost every day and constantly run at every hour of the day. Communication has developed significantly over the time of these generations. Instead of simply talking face to face or using the phone to dial a number, we can now talk to multiple people at the same time using new technologies such as the web, improved cell phones, social networks, and so on. While this seems like a big change, there are drawbacks to this new technology. Every time a new communication device is introduced into society, some part of the human communication process is diminished. People are becoming less familiar... middle of paper... do not go outdoors. Generation Y is much more antisocial than Generation There are both pros and cons of both communication technologies in Generation X. Generation X is more sociable, healthy and active, while Generation Y is more antisocial, lazy and more unfit than Generation their strengths and weaknesses, rights and wrongs, pros and cons, but it is not easy to examine which is the best choice in terms of communication technology. Maybe in the future the answer will be obvious, in my opinion.
