CADD has many uses in the modern world today. The uses of CADD extend to nearly every occupation in the world, from animation design to architecture. CADD is mainly used for fine adjustments on a drawing or to provide different views of a building. CADD is mainly used to touch up or modify designs. CADD is computer software used in many ways. Sometimes CADD is used to change the appearance of something or to provide a better view of what something looks like. It is also extremely useful in the process of designing an object, building, etc. ("Computer-aided design"). CADD is essential for some choice tasks. Most occupations have the ability to use CADD in the process of producing goods. Whether it's designing an object or getting a better three-dimensional view of a product. Architecture is an example of an occupation that uses CADD. Architects use CADD in a way that helps an architect design buildings or something else he is working on (nielsen). This helps make the building as perfect as possible. They initially do a two-dimensional design of the building, then they may possibly do a three-dimensional view of the building to get a better view of the building (nielsen). Once the design is finished, the building undergoes review and is eventually built into a fully functional home to live in. An occupation similar to architecture is interior design. Interior design is the design of the interior of a building. They design what the inside of the building will look like after some cosmetic changes have been made (nielsen). They use CADD to show how a paint scheme would look on a building or how furniture would look when placed (nielsen). Once the house is finished, the interior designers decorate the... center with paper... placing the goods. Overall, CADD is a useful thing to help society as a whole, whether for entertainment or a necessity. Works Cited “Computer-Aided Design of Architecture and Engineering.” Austin Community College.
