Creating and achieving goals are some important things that people want to do in their life and learn how to achieve or achieve them. Goals can be small, large, long, short, simple, complicated, difficult, objective, career, life, educational, professional and can be about anything, such as health, work, work, you, the people you they surround you, friends, family, world, history, culture and support. To realize or achieve these goals, you need to have a lot of time, effort, expertise, patience and perseverance. Goals are ones to be proud of because we achieve them every day and you just don't realize it. As a full-time college freshman attending Fullerton College and majoring in Elementary Education, my career goals are performing well academically, applying for scholarships, studying well, qualifying for the honors program; raise my freshman year cumulative grade point average to 3.5, have a B and above in all classes, graduate with Latin honors, transfer to a four-year university at California State University Fullerton or University of California Irvine for my last two years of college, planning my schedule, passing exams, midterms, tests, and finals, turning in my assignments on time, taking classes in the 2014 summer semester, improving my critical thinking, writing essays on place and oral presentations or language skills, starting my teaching career from kindergarten to fifth grade and teaching abroad in international schools. Giving all my best, effort, time, passion and care as an educator for children is a great objective goal because teachers today are the people we entrust our children to because they help children find their way, start their journey, to express......middle of paper......n potential. The reason I chose to pursue education as a major in college is because I have really enjoyed being with younger children as a pastime while in high school since my niece arrived on January 19, 2012 and when I started volunteering after school at one of the nursery schools near my house. My instinct in that moment is to figure out what you want to do for a living based on what you enjoy doing every day. In my context during this time I wanted to become a teacher and nurture the minds of children who are growing up today. Overall, without teachers today what will happen to the future of children today? A teacher is a person in life who is always there for you no matter what happens in your daily life. At the end of the day, when class is over, children think about their teachers and the impact they have had on their lives as they arrive, move on, and leave.
