So, on February 2, 1996, Loukaitis took a revolver, a pistol and a handgun to Frontier Middle School in Moses Lake, Washington. Another boy named Scott Pennington, who has been around for 17 years, struggles with teasing for stuttering, name-calling and physical assault. On January 18, 1993, Scott entered his English class with a gun. Nicholas Elliott, who has been around for 16 years, struggles with bullying because of the color of his skin, so Elliott opened fire on teachers and students at Atlantic Shores Christian School, Virginia Beach, on December 16, 1988. All of these teenagers were charged with life sentences (Kuykendall 18-20). No one understands why a victim gets a gun and goes to school while other victims of bullying shrug their shoulders
