“The real question that should be discussed is not whether gay marriage should be allowed, but rather whether marriage is something we need more of?” this quote was said by David Vaklis saying that if people don't accept homosexuals then why should we get married. The debate is whether people will accept homosexuals and whether gay marriage will be legalized throughout the United States and not just in certain areas. Even though it is against traditional marriage religion, gay marriage must be legalized because being in love with the same sex should not be a problem and because everyone should not be treated the same. People are against it because of the “image” of our lives. country if we legalized it worldwide, what would America look like as a nation. This could give rise to many new problems but solve many of them. It could make the country a more loving and open place to live rather than a place that simply neglects. For example, some people aren't interested in gays. Maybe because everyone deserves the right to be who they are and who they should be. One of the major issues as to why gay marriage should not be legalized in America is why homosexual relationships go against God's beliefs and how the world was meant to be through His perspective. Same-sex marriage is a sin and offends God. In the book Genesis: “God created man in His image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.'” (Gen. 1:28-29) male and female were created to bear children and create new life. Related to this, another problem is the creation of newborns. With same-sex people, they would have to pay and do things themselves to create a newborn.
