Wordsworth “We are seven” Lyrical BallardsWordsworth “we are seven” Lyrical Ballard was written in 1978 when he was 28 years old. The poem was full of natural and supernatural events. “A simple little girl, who breathes lightly, and feels life in every limb, describing the little girl full of life. The speaker asked the little girl what she should know about death? The poem begins with the speaker asking a child what he knows about death. Then he meets an eight-year-old girl. The little girl with thick curly hair seemed to make the speaker happy. The description of the little girl "rustic and forest air" gives the reader the image of a harsh country air. it is worth using natural and supernatural meanings in “we are seven”. The little girl could not understand death by repeatedly including her two dead brothers. The little girl has a strong imagination and nature confuses her to understand the difference between her living and dead siblings. The little girl could explain where the other brothers were but could not distinguish the living from the dead. He told the speaker that two brothers were at sea, two others were lying in the churchyard, one under the tree in the churchyard. The child said that the spirits of the two brothers who died at sea are in heaven. Worth used a supernatural being to explain that the brothers' spirits are in heaven. The natural aspect refers to that of the brothers lying under the tree in the churchyard. The speaker again questions the number of siblings, and the child insists that "there are seven of us."
