The Matrix, is a science fiction action film that has one of the main focuses is Neo who symbolizes "The One" Destiny, essentially your destiny, and free will, which is a decision you make without any obligation, are both shown at several points in the film where these points are evident and where these themes are explored Some key relationships with this topic are the pill scene, right after Morpheus and Neo practice the Japanese martial arts known as jujitsu and his visit to the Oracle has many general connections and will discuss the main contributions that all of this had on the film as a whole. Fate in The Matrix remains a non-negotiable factor as the world has been pre-programmed and every action is predetermined. Free will, however, was visible in small quantities and was valued immensely. In this film, the choice to think that you are manipulated in life is a complete illusion as the path of who you are has already been set. The true meaning of this is that destiny is something you have no control over, ultimately your destiny. One clear example that stands out was the "pill scene" that occurred during the first half hour of this highly significant film. Ultimately, Fate was the absolute ruler of his destiny becoming "the Chosen One" in this film. The Matrix, when released in theaters, was a world-famous film that required a lot of thought and the ability to interpret complex ideas. However, these two topics, fate and free will, were creatively and intelligently immersed in this film. The pill, jujitsu and Oracle scene were three main examples of the effect this all had on The Matrix, however there were a few others sprinkled throughout the film. It remained a rather mysterious concept but, as deeper thoughts came to mind, it seemed quite interesting.
