Making decisions alone can be difficult, but when other people come into your business it can be even more difficult. They may pressure you into making a decision you don't want to make. They may also influence the way you act and try to make you do something unpleasant. Peer pressure is very common among young adults. I experienced peer pressure and learned my lesson. I hate to see others go through with it. The pressure on young people to conform to the standards of their peers is enormous. The people around you influence your life. You learn from them and they learn from you. Peers can have a positive influence on you, for example by teaching you a simpler solution to a math problem. Or they may have a negative influence on you, such as telling you to ditch math class with them. They may push you to do something you're not ready to do or have never even thought about doing. Like drinking or doing drugs, having sex because everyone does it, shoplifting or even driving without a license or without a guardian. They accept it because they care about it...
