November 22, 1963 is a day that some Americans will remember and others will not. That Friday at 12:30 pm the President of the United States was killed in Dealey Plaza, Texas. Numerous theories have been formulated about how the president was killed and how many shooters there were. However we captured a suspect named Lee Oswald, a former US Marine sniper, who hated Kennedy's views, and fled the scene and shot a police officer with his revolver. Many people have the right to blame Oswald, but in my mind there were two killers. In this essay I will explain why I believe this and help support my theory. To explain how Kennedy was affected we need to do a little medical knowledge. Kennedy had back pain, which meant he couldn't sit upright without feeling pain. So in my theory Kennedy had to sit slightly forward to relieve the pain in his back while sitting in the open limo. Second, Governor Connally was seated to Kennedy's left and was about three or four inches lower than Kennedy. This would make for a perfect angle for Oswald to shoot Kennedy and Connally together in one shot. Then let's look at Oswald. Oswald was a mysterious man. He went to live in Russia because he didn't like American opinions, although he would later join the Marines at a young age. When he returned to the United States he brought back his wife named Marina. The beginning of their relationship was bumpy and not as smooth as one might think. They argued but eventually things settled down and things became peaceful (Archive). However, during his last week before the assassination he spent no time with her. He lived in a boarding house with a roommate and they both went to work together. I believe all the other shots hit Kennedy and Connally, but I have a hard time believing Oswald's head shot. It would simply have been too difficult for Oswald because he was right-handed and would have had to lean out the window quite a bit to shoot. I believe Jack shot Oswald so he wouldn't snitch and acted that way so the police wouldn't be so suspicious. Finally, there are many theories out there, some are hard to believe and others are easily explainable.
