They say that immigrants come to this country for a better life, so this is what they should try to do for themselves. In most cases they end up working in low-paying, dead-end jobs. If you come to America for a better life, then you should make the effort to better yourself rather than barely getting by. Most immigrants tend to work in manual jobs that don't require much other human interaction. “While the U.S. government makes enormous efforts to prevent people from entering the country illegally, many American employers continually show their eagerness to provide them with jobs.” (Crest 72) Many immigrants use government assistance such as welfare and food stamps. Immigrants using government assistance tend to make people angry because they feel like illegals use the taxes they pay to live their lives without paying taxes themselves. Trump suggests building a wall, but I don't think that will work very well to repel the influx of immigrants, because they will find other ways to come into our great country.
