I am not a scientist, a doctor, or anyone who has taken anything more than Karna Doyle's Adolescent Psychology course, as awesome as it was. The best thing I can say is that I have had twenty-four years of life experience and emotions that have seen very deep lows and dizzying highs and many highs in between. I know I still have many years to live, hopefully, and while some might say I'm too young for any real experience, people in my age group have a unique perspective. Many people's philosophy on memory, if you believe the snippets of songs like "Live While We're Young" and the countless photos shared on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, is that this is the time when people my age should really live. "Truly live." We have to travel, drink, have sex, do stupid things and follow our whims, so that if we reach old age we have no regrets. Young people must create memories for their older selves, which indicates that memories are only useful as stories and a source of nostalgia and regret. Philosophy has merit, but I hesitate to make it
