Social media is important in shaping the public's value of feminism through the structure of contemporary media such as films, magazines, plays, advertisements, TV programs, graphic novels, etc. The TV show “Sex and the City” incorporates “pop feminism” that influences many women's lives. Sex and the City is originally about four single women in their thirties living in Manhattan. They come to New York to look for “love and labels” (Sex and the City). The main theme of Sex and the City focuses on the contemporary American woman's conception of sex, love and romance.
