The training will focus on assembly, handling, use, inspection and care and will include the installation of fall protection, guardrails and the correct maintenance of fall protection equipment. Fall protection shall consist of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems, compliant with OSHA guidelines, reference 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), and shall be provided on any scaffold 10 feet or more in height above a lower level , reference 1926.451( g)(1), (“ETool for Scaffolds | Supported Scaffolds - Fall Protection,” n.d.). Initial and maintenance training will be conducted at each jobsite and as conditions vary. Safety requirements will be included when installing scaffolding by anchoring so that it is rigid and capable of withstanding the maximum load without stabilizing or moving. The installation and use of scaffolding will meet the following safety criteria: Scaffold poles, legs or uprights must be plumb and securely and rigidly braced to prevent swinging and shifting. No ladders or other devices will be used to increase the working height on scaffolding platforms. Scaffolding will not be moved while employees are occupying it and if employees are working on suspended scaffolding. They must use a personal fall arrest system on scaffolding and must be attached via a lanyard to a vertical, horizontal lifeline
