Most people are fully aware of work due dates, but most of us feel like we have a lot of time before we need to start working on it. So we put it aside to do later and then, before we know it, it's too late. The first step to avoiding procrastination is to have a planner. Having an agenda will allow you to keep track of all your tasks and their deadlines. This way you will know that you have to finish each task by a certain date. You may have an agenda with all the tasks to do, but you need to have the motivation to do them. Having motivation is the next step to avoiding procrastination. In most cases people say they procrastinate because they have no motivation to do any work. You can motivate yourself by setting the due date a week or even a day earlier than the actual due date. I know that when I finish a task before the actual due date or even five minutes before the deadline I feel like I'm on top of the world. Having a little motivation will help you go a long way when it comes to avoidance
