Research PaperIntroduction:"Anyone who can walk to the welfare office can walk to work."(Al Capp). The welfare system is carnage for the United States. Welfare is a waste of money, ObamaCare is destroying small businesses, and ObamaCare penalizes hard workers. Many people are unaware of what welfare systems do. History: There are many things people don't know about ObamaCare and other social welfare systems. Welfare spending has nearly tripled, and federal spending has increased to about 900%. The total amount of money spent by the federal government increased by 651%. Spending on poverty-fighting and welfare programs has risen to $668,000,000,000, generating inflation of 375 percent in 2011 currency. Taxpayers are charged approximately $72,000,000,000 through the use of vouchers meal by the government. $284,000,000,000 has been drained from the federal government through contributions from local and state authorities for welfare and ObamaCare. “Although welfare reform has long been declared a success in some quarters, it was deeply flawed from the start.” (Edelman, Ehrenreich). In the past, welfare reform was said to be successful, but in reality it is not an achievement. People who support welfare don't know all the flaws that come with it. Billions of dollars are spent by the government on popular welfare, which costs taxpayers, who have no say in the matter. Many people don't know that the welfare system is completely eradicating the United States. A predictable round of calls for increased government spending on social welfare programs has been triggered by news that the poverty rate has risen to 15.1% of Americans, the highest level in nearly half of the card… ..hey, he makes over $250,000. People who have low incomes will be eligible for Medicaid. Many people abuse the welfare system which costs the government a lot of money. This way of thinking is hurting the economy and should be stopped. “A group of state attorneys general is challenging the constitutionality of the law requiring everyone to purchase health insurance.” (Clemmitt). State attorneys are trying to stop everyone from getting free health insurance. Health care is too expensive to provide for free to every American citizen. Medical expenses are expected to increase by 80% by 2017. Efforts to solve problems caused by the welfare system should be greater. Conclusion: The United States is being demolished by the welfare system. Welfare is a waste of money, ObamaCare is destroying small businesses, and ObamaCare penalizes hard workers.
