Another thing I noticed from the dialogue is that it kind of switches roles between women and men when it comes to occupations like picking fruit and planting seeds, this is mostly done by women in most cultures, while women were expected to milk the cows and make the cheese, which in many other cultures is mostly done by men. Another thing the author mentions through the captain is how women should take care of the girl if their child is a girl and if it is a boy the mother has to give it to the father because of the roles in the society. It seemed unfair to me why the boy can't learn something from the mother, just as the girl can learn from the father, this is where I saw the division between males and females, not being equal to each other. This society may seem happy, spiritual and a great place to live, but nothing is ever perfect, something we talk about seems cold and harsh to me, like not socializing at dinner or during a meal, someone reading while everyone else is eating.
