A citizen can have access to folding and detachable stocks that allow them to hide the weapon more easily and even grenade launcher attachments. However, gun ownership is an American tradition that is older than the country itself. Creating additional gun control laws would violate the right to bear arms, protected by the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment protects an individual's right to bear arms, even a firearm that is not connected with service in a militia, and to use the firearm for lawful purposes, such as self-defense.
