Topic > Martin Luther King, Jr. - 1455

I had a dream were the famous words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. At the time of segregation in the 1950s, this powerful speech brought not only blacks into a world of equality but America must respect the constitution it created. Dr. King was an inspiring man with a brilliant mind. He led a battle against one of the most difficult issues America faced, segregation; when someone is treated differently based on their skin color, shunned, or marginalized. He brought America out of segregation to become an equal and diverse nation. There are so many different types of cultures and ethnicities on this earth and without King the world today could be a completely different humanity. Racism still exists today, it is not something that can be stopped completely, but it has changed over the years of the Constitution. Black people are not the only ones overlooked in the universe, from Israelis to Palestinians, from Chinese to Japanese, racism is everywhere. Dr. King made many points about how Southern politicians and racial activists were immoral. The main objective was to combat prejudice and segregation. But he had not only followed the ways of Gandhi but also fought for equality in a non-violent manner. King changed the world to think differently about others. He made people realize that everyone was different and what he solved was the freedom of the African American people of our country. King was a very worried man when he found out that Rosa Parks had been arrested because she wouldn't give up her seat to a white man on the bus in Montgomery, Alabama. He decided to gather some of his friends and protest against segregation on buses. He believed that it wasn't right to be treated differently... middle of paper... on this planet for doing something that would somehow change someone's life. Some found it and some didn't. In life, you have to expect the unexpected and live your life. No one can see what will happen in the future. Martin Luther King Jr. no, he dreamed of what he wanted the future to become and so it was. There is little segregation, blacks are free, and no matter what happens, this world will never be safe, but if you believe in something, then anything could happen. I believe that everything happens for a reason and whatever is destined to happen will always find its way. This is what King also believed. He had a dream and it came true. He was determined to change one of the biggest problems America had ever faced, and he did. That was a person preaching his feelings, imagine if you got ten people together to change the world. What would happen??
