Those who are considering this field need to make sure they have the passion and drive to help others get the professional healthcare they need. From the Public Health Administration article, I couldn't agree more with what they said; “Those who work in public health have the opportunity to improve the lives of many. They can work for a government that keeps the population safe and healthy, or they can work for a non-governmental organization and help improve the lives of many through outreach and service” (“Public Health Administration,” 2016). I believe this career piqued my interest in that I will be able to participate in a medical office environment and still in the medical field helping others, but not interacting with patients one on one on a daily basis. I will be a great candidate to work as a medical administrator because I have good leadership qualities and am organized. However, I need to work on my communication skills, such as writing more efficiently and speaking in public, because I have a tendency to get nervous while speaking to a large crowd. I am confident that the undergraduate courses at UNCC will prepare me for what lies ahead and lead me to a successful career in medicine
