Every company discussed in Mullin's article has reduced their employee turnover rate. Motivational and beneficial methods have impacted organizations in terms of turnover and decreased productivity. This would be a benefit to Best Buy, by allowing their employees to work in areas of the store where they feel comfortable with their knowledge and skills, it would increase productivity, and changing their days off would increase employee morale because they could be able to adapt their schedule to suit their family life. Costco pays its employees a significant salary that makes the employees feel like the company does. The health benefits offered by Costco increase employee pay and create a secure feeling of being able to provide medical care for themselves and their families.
