In the film The China Syndrome, directed by James Bridges, we follow Kimberly Wells, a journalist played by Jane Fonda, who covers idle stories. Until he gets the opportunity to enter a nuclear power plant. In the middle of the tour Kimberly and her cameraman Richard Adams, played by Michael Douglas, encounter a mechanical failure, at the hands of power plant controller Jack Godell, played by Jack Lemon. After realizing that Richard had recorded the entire incident, Kimberly makes it her priority to reveal the true dangers of the nuclear power plant. In this thriller, we are confronted with the real dangers of a nuclear power plant by these characters who go to extremes to reveal the truth and to what great lengths those in charge of the nuclear power plant will go to keep the truth from the public. The protagonist of the film is Kimberly Wells played by Jane Fonda. The film would never have had its turn if she had never taken the tour of the power plant which sets up one of, if not the most important sequences of the film, while they are in the screening room looking inside the control room, the generator begins to overheat. Which causes panic, meanwhile Richard is recording everything that happens in the control room, while Jack tries to solve the problem. It's an important sequence because it sets up the plot of the entire film. If it hadn't been for this emotionally charged sequence we wouldn't have been able to understand what the plot of the film was. Even though there is no sound, it is emotionally charged because we get many close-ups of the characters with a worried facial expression with only the sound of the system and the flashing red lights. She's the female hero who sees an opportunity... middle of paper... the earthquake hat measures 9.0 on the Richter scale,” an NRC spokesperson suggested, “She should just say, 'Yes, it's so" Power." Worry about making a mistake when this is not the case. In the video the phonographs had an alteration compared to the original photo of the generator. In the original photo there is an obvious malfunction of the generator, which in the photo has been modified to cover the problem. Jack was told to stay out of it or there would be consequences.
