There has always been talk of girls who are affected and suffer from eating disorders such as bulimia or anorexia nervosa. There seems to be a misconception, however, that all males are comfortable in their own skin. This notion is absolutely not true. Some young people can become extreme cases. Boys will always think they are small and will become obsessed with how big they are, how tight their shirt is, or whether or not they should train for hours on end. Others think they aren't fit enough because of the impossible standards steroid-using bodybuilders set for leanness. These men may also develop extremely unhealthy relationships with food and constantly worry about how much they eat, what types of foods they eat, and what their abs look like 24/7.
