Although this occurs all over the world, the most common racial difference is between African Americans and Caucasians. One of the most popular news topics right now regarding race is the “Black Lives Matter” story. This is more specifically directed at police brutality. Some people believe that the police will take more drastic measures because the criminal is of a different color. It is almost always a white police officer and a black victim/criminal. An example of this cop-victim story includes that of Trayvon Martin. A policeman named Zimmerman shot this seventeen-year-old African-American boy as he was walking. Now, the court found Zimmerman innocent, however there was much confusion as to what actually happened. When the court delivered its verdict, several riots occurred.
