The beauty of the campus alone was stunning! It was during my university visit that I finally found a university that had all the features I was looking for. Baylor was the whole package! I liked that Baylor was larger than other Christian schools I visited, but it felt much more intimate. I knew, after exploring the campus and hearing about Baylor's mission, that my leadership strengths, spiritual connection, and respect for serving others would be a welcome contribution to the Baylor community. I intend to seek out organizations to collaborate with, where I can continue my community service and cultivate my spiritual growth, as I have done at home. My involvement with Young Life over the past 4 years, as a member and serving as a freshman girls leader, has helped me develop leadership strengths that I will be able to share with Baylor's diverse student body. It is through this organization that I have found fulfillment by exercising my gifts to encourage others, which incorporates my passion for serving others. I can also contribute to Baylor life through my work experience. I work teaching girls cheerleading and acrobatics skills. I help them strengthen their talents and athletic abilities while providing encouragement to their tender hearts.
