Synergy is fundamentally about celebrating difference, teamwork and innovation. It all depends on how we use our differences to find a better solution. For example, geese flying in a V shape is an example of synergy. All the geese cooperate and stop being the main goose, which flies directly into the wind. They found a better solution, rather than completely tiring out a goose. In class we did a little quiz to find out what "fruit" you were. Each fruit was distinctive in a way. We found that if you put together a team with everyone the same personality type, nothing would get done or your project would be weaker overall. If you mix analytical fruits (melons), objective fruits (bananas), collaborative fruits (grapes), and innovative fruits (oranges), you will have a fantastic and diverse team whose differences will make it stronger by the variation of opinion and opinion processes thought. I was part of the melon group. The identifying characteristics seem to fit me perfectly. Discussing points of view, finding solutions, analyzing ideas and determining value or importance are characteristics that truly describe me. On the other hand, weaknesses, acceptance of imperfection, considering all alternatives and the feelings of others also seem to be my attributes. All in all, I'm not a good synergist due to my lack of collaboration skills. Opening yourself up to what others have to say is an important skill
