Mass communication occurs through social media. Examples of popular social media where messages are sent every second of the day include: television, Facebook, Twitter, email, Snapchat, and many more. Born from the most popular form of communication nowadays, the most attractive form of communication for me would be mass communication. We live in the digital age where everything and everyone is online. It's by far the easiest way to put your name out there and expose yourself to the world. Everyone has some form of social media or knows someone with ties to some social media. Even without trying, a message posted on popular media sites would reach a much larger audience than a speech due to the sheer number of those who will be exposed to the initial message. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the least attractive form of communication is public communication as it is being phased out and is seen as a much more formal way of addressing an audience. The initial turnout at a demonstration where a speech is given would only be that allowed by the place where it takes place, i.e. the maximum number of people that a stadium can contain would be one thousand people, whereas if the same speech were broadcast on television or advertised on Twitter or plastered all over Facebook walls, the number of people aware of the event would increase
