To engage more with nurses and understand what the life of a nurse is like, I became a volunteer at Texas Children's Hospital and immediately loved that being able to help children and bring smiles to their faces made me realize that this is career for me. Spending too much time on details is something I've always done because it's a habit because I'm a perfectionist.
