To engage more with nurses and understand what the life of a nurse is like, I became a volunteer at Texas Children's Hospital and immediately loved that being able to help children and bring smiles to their faces made me realize that this is career for me. As humans, we are not all perfect, so we are bound to have weaknesses. One of my weaknesses would be that I spend too much time paying attention to details. Spending too much time on details is something I've always done because it's a habit because I'm a perfectionist. This is something I'm working on, however, as I control how I approach things now and time management. Becoming a nurse is something I could see myself doing.
