Topic > The Theory of Evolution - 1350

There is no doubt that the world's first survival power is based on evolution, to a point where you don't have to look outside the box to witness it... they're sitting on It. Many have confused the term “Evolution” with a state of randomness, an improvement or even a biogenesis. Others have linked it to the origins of the universe, a social Darwinism that led to enormous diversity regarding theory and ideology. While people choose to rest their bodies on a chair in an attempt to find an answer to its definition, some have rested their minds and accepted the fact that it only means change over time. There is no doubt that life on earth is linked by common ancestry and has been changing for a long time, but the real conflict lies in people's reactions: do they or do they not agree with the change? Charles Darwin, English naturalist and geologist once said: "It is not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent species that survives. It is the one that adapts best to change." What is normal for a spider for a butterfly might seem crazy, which is why the diversity between all terrestrial environments testifies to different opinions, problems and solutions. With the evolution of people comes the evolution of thoughts, to which is added the evolution of ways of living. However, you don't grow up in a stable environment. This is where architecture made room for innovation before it became timeless, and to be timeless, you need to live timeless. According to Charles Jencks, "The modern world, driven forward by the imperative of continuous growth, is a colossus without a reverse gear." For architecture, modernism is like discovering the American continent all over again, a territory that does not belong to it,...... middle of paper... it will have received a declaration of love anyway. Neither of the two interlocutors will feel innocent, both will have accepted the challenge of the past, of what has already been said which cannot be eliminated; both will consciously and with pleasure play the game of irony... But both will have managed, once again, to talk about love" Umberto Eco. In a world where futurists have declared war on memory and modernists in general have banned symbolism in the arts, postmodernism recognizes the fact that what has already been said cannot and will not be avoided, no matter how hard we try. The only solution is neither to simply repudiate nor to simply imitate either the modernist parents of the twentieth century or those nineteenth-century premodernists. They say "We are as beautiful as the Acropolis or the Pantheon, but we are also based on concrete technology and deception".
