Nutrient-rich foods complement your diet very well. They act as nutrients for the day and therefore are needed daily. I believe I am currently eating nutrient dense foods. About 7% of my fat came from saturated fat; that's half the fat I consume every day. Granola bars contain peanuts which contain saturated fat. This is the only saturated fat I have consumed in this time. This is the exact amount of saturated fat a person my age should consume. Water I consumed: 7 cups (56 fluid ounces) which is less than the amount I should consume daily. I should drink 77 ounces of water a day, which is half my weight in ounces. I also drank 5 cups of milk and a Mountain Dew. I have a sugar addiction, which is why I drink so much Mountain Dew regularly, although I'm trying to cut back on it. On average, a Mountain Dew costs 75 cents, although this depends on whether or not it is a can or a bottle (a can costs 75 cents and a bottle costs 1.50). I often spend $12 a week on soda and other unhealthy drinks.
