“Music is extraordinarily wonderful. It cannot be touched, but it touches anyone who can hear the sounds. It can seemingly evoke any emotion; we respond instinctively to happy melodies, sorrowful songs, beautiful melodies, inspiring hymns, moving anthems, and majestic orchestrations. (Doolan, Robert. 1985) There is no doubt that music is an important part of society; he has been at the side of civilization whether it is the lyres and flutes of the ancient Greeks or how it calms or excites the emotions and keeps armies in order during battle. Social unrest and a desire for change also occurred within society. Protest is the expression of a society's concerns about current events by which it feels influenced, whether through public demonstrations, pickets, riots or even bombings. Protest through music is a powerful way to engage people. In the midst of what life throws at individuals, music has comforted the soul, provoked individualistic thoughts and opinions, and music unites people through similar groups who have the same attachment or concerns for their surroundings. Whether rock, jazz, blues, rap, hip hop, dance, spiritual or world, music has inspired artists to express their own expression and vision of society. Music is a universally effective protest tool in generating social change and unrest as it continues to unite those of like mind. in all locations, they engaged in musical behaviors.
