People from all over the world leave their countries and families to immigrate to the United States in search of the “American Dream.” The term America Dream has a different interpretation for everyone. For some people the America Dream means the pursuit of material prosperity, for others it means achieving their personal goals in life that they could not achieve in their homeland. Every citizen of the United States of America has the opportunity to make it happen, but it will depend on his or her perseverance and commitment. If everyone has the same opportunities in America, why do some people's dreams come true and others' not? I've heard people say that the age of learning a new language can be a major factor in why people fail to achieve their American Dream. But my friend Diana came to America at the age of 12. She attended middle school, high school and eventually graduated. He learns and speaks English perfectly, but has never studied anything... after high school. She works as a receptionist in an office and always complains about her salary. The term “America Dream” does not exist for her; he had never had any obstacle in realizing any dream, if he had had one. This country gives everyone the opportunity to study and make a career. College is often made for people of all ages and varying responsibilities, college has many different lesson plans to choose from depending on their time. Like me, I can also attend it as a part-time student, because I have other responsibilities besides my education. Also, I heard some people say that when you emigrate with your family, it's too difficult to do something for yourself because you have to take care of your family first. But I've met people who... middle of paper... migrants move to America thinking this country is the land of opportunity. But after some time they realize that it is not as easy as it seems. From my point of view, age is not a barrier for people learning a new language and even getting a career. We all have the same learning ability. Doctors need to undergo continuous training, even after finishing their career, to gain knowledge about new medicine and more, so this shows that people's age is not a learning issue. Also coming with your family and having more responsibilities than others is not another problem, it can't stop you from achieving your dream. No matter what, big or small, in the short or long term anyone can achieve their "American Dream" but it will have been easy, it takes a lot of dedication, perseverance and commitment. The most important factor is to realize your American dream and make it happen!
