In this video clip of the COMM3002 Communication Studies project, we will take the tactic of parody and comedy as genres of our video clip to take shows around TV nowadays are too similar and without a guarantee of quality for the general public. This is a satirical story making fun of Hong Kong's entertainment industry nowadays, all artists have double faces, in front of the camera we behave well; however, once away from the camera, they exposed their personalities in a panoramic view and revealing the true selves of the entertainers behind the camera, to remind those who wish to be a star and work in the entertainment industry that the reality of this industry It's not as glamorous as it sounds. The story is about a famous Hong Kong chef with below-average culinary skills and intellect who hosts a cooking show on TV, but when conflicts quickly arise between her and her host, her true colors end up being revealed by her host young and inexperienced. The synopsis of our project is that Cat is a famous hostess in Hong Kong and hosts her own cooking show on TV. For this week's episode, he invites up-and-coming singer Karmen as his guest. Together with Cat's personal assistant, the three head to the local market in search of fresh ingredients to cook a "delicious" dish. Cat then reveals that she is making a special kind of tempura, the recipe for which has been long lost: orange peel tempura. While they are preparing the dish, Karmen notices that Cat is constantly rude and inconsiderate towards her assistant, not to mention that she cooks terribly. Since Karmen is new to the entertainment industry, she is very outspoken and outspoken about Cat's treatment of her assistant and criticizes Cat's cooking skills and her...... middle of paper.... ..n with others, so they did not use their passion to create ideal films or high-quality films and dramas. It causes the film production or products to get worse and worse. Together with well-developed technologies, we intended to film a parody to mock crudely and carelessly produced TV programs; their facial expression, body gestures and even the way of speaking are almost the same. So, in this video portrait, we think it is necessary to stand out to do something for our society. We no longer want to receive useless information every day, so we want to film Cat's Kitchen to awaken people's attention to this burning issue. Although our target audience is just classmates, but as we gained experience on how to film a video, we could continue to film other social issues and upload them to YouTube; try to attract the attention of the general public.
