There are many negative effects on society resulting from global warming. First, the economy will eventually suffer. We may not see it now, but in the not so distant future it will become a reality. Fossil fuels are a huge part of the economy. They are objects made up of a variety of dead plants and animals. Some examples of fossil fuels are coal, fuel oil or natural gas (“Fossil Fuel Energy”). If humans continue to use natural resources like fossil fuels, which cause much of the global warming problem, we will run out. When this happens, raw materials like oil will become not only rare, but extremely valuable. This will affect the economy as the oil district will suffer, causing other directly related areas to suffer as well. The fact that oil is in danger is just one example of how the lack of fossil fuels will affect our future.
