Topic > Violation of Fundamental Human Rights - 2085

From the era of the nation's founding father, President George Washington, to today's Barack Obama, the United States of America has faced countless struggles in its rise to become the maximum global power strength. Despite the widespread nature of these types of struggles, the protection of basic human rights has become one of America's greatest symbols of success and prosperity. It has become the most consolidated democracy in the world with great respect for the civil liberties of people of all ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. In line with this, the issue of racial discrimination is more or less synonymous with violation of these fundamental human rights. Since the dawn of the slave trade, racial profiling has always been a negative part of the history of such a revered country. Consequently, it is despicable to imagine a situation in which racial profiling is accepted as a practice by law enforcement. Profiling happens every day in the United States, and innocent people are convicted of crimes they did not commit. The government's policy on this issue has also had negative effects on American society and if something is not done to improve the situation, the United States will never be the true protector of human rights, the principle on which this country was founded. it is irrational, unjust, and unproductive, but one thing is not un-American: Racial profiling has been part of the US criminal justice system as long as there has been a US criminal justice system, and it is part of North American colonial justice. systems in the centuries preceding its formation." (add citation) Racial profiling is not just a modern issue; it has existed in America since 1533 (O'Neal, 2014) when K...... middle of paper .... ..segregates suspects in the minds of police officers, and creates a system of second-class citizenship for blacks and Latinos” (Responsible) Therefore, racial profiling in the United States must end. Our founding fathers founded a nation based on rights natural and freedom, but for over fifty years Americans (Native Americans, blacks, etc.) were discriminated against and treated as second-class citizens. Without the support of the federal and state governments and the Supreme Court, the nation is doomed to failure and racial profiling will continue until the end of the war. Our nation was founded on the ideals of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and there are too many minority groups that have been subjected to prejudice and racial profiling for this to truly happen in a country that prides itself on these ideals.
