Sex education over the years has provided necessary information on precautions, along with the consequences of being sexually active. It also allows high school seniors to educate themselves on an aspect of their lives that will always be an important factor in their romantic relationship. Every action and decision towards any element of life will inevitably produce a result and a response. The ignorance of many teenagers leads them to make stupid decisions that can change their future. I support the idea of implementing sex education in middle and elementary schools. The next step will be to find a strategy to implement it in classrooms. Birth control methods are simply out of the equation, but today society has created so many tools to facilitate education that a program dedicated to this issue should not be a problem. Sex education in public and private high schools should be an extensive class that will teach different sexuality aspects of a person's life. This change could have a serious impact on teen pregnancy statistics, STD carriers, and people's ability to make rational decisions about their sex lives. Ted Feinberg in “NBC News report” said, “We need to understand why (the increase in STD statistics has been so high among those under the age of 22) and help our kids be more responsible.” The desire to discover, explore and learn more about the sexual factors that trigger certain behaviors is completely common; however, protection should be part of this exploration process. Male and vaginal condoms, birth control pills, diaphragms and rhythmic methods should be part of the education provided in schools. According to “DoSomething.org”, 750,000 girls between the ages of 15 and 19 become pregnant and eighty percent of these...... half of the paper...... are afraid of promiscuity”. Once again, religious individuals have not been given the tools to develop the kinds of skills that are part of being comfortable with your sexuality. Expressing yourself is knowing yourself. Furthermore, this is where the key innovation comes to the aid of the problem. Just being willing to acknowledge the fact that sex education and communication helps younger generations make better decisions is a step towards progress. Consent is an important aspect of sexuality, teenagers and adults must give importance to the topic. The yes or no theory is not enough, a healthy relationship needs boundaries and girls need to be aware of what sexual harassment means. Adolescent violence is not uncommon; it is necessary to provide teenagers with the right information. Verbal abuse is included in teen violence, and teens need to know that they can speak up.
